some of the challenges you will face individually in preparing for your
Fablefest Project.
What strategies do
you plan to use to achieve success in a Leadership Role?
IN the initial introduction of FableFest I was under the impression that every wanted to do it. I soon realized that one person's bad attitude can bring down the whole group. I am trying to be reasurring about how fun this project is but one person that isn't listening is ruining it for me and everyone else.
So in light of that I have decided to make the project better. I gave them each a list of the players we have and let them choose. Of course this makes it harder for me to find a plot structure but it's more about trying to show these people how fufilling this work is.
I really want them to feel the moment of stunned surprise after the end of our play and hear them say "oh my gosh I canat believe we did it" Cause award or not at the end of the night they're all winners for being a team and doing something great.
In my fablefest project, I have faced little to no troubles or challenges. The only challenge I have faced, was figuring out the ending. Even then, was group was very cooperative with me and our ideas.
I have been able to include everyone's ideas and desires without any problems. The only problem or challenge I see is teaching them how to act. I would like to see how many of them are "coach-able".
My goal is to hand down the experience I received. I want to be the "Abraham Ross" in their group. To let them know that they can trust me to help build them as an actor.
I face challenges with people who don't stay focused. I also can get very sidetracked too. I also have a problem with meeting deadlines.
I need to stay focused and make sure I keep others on track. I also make sure I stay on track with deadlines. I fell behind a little but ultimately I got it done with the help of one of my group members who stepped up and made sure the script got finished.
I can do this by writing down due dates. I also need to make sure my group only talks about relevant topics
