This year I have expectations. I would love to be able to improve on performing. Last year I mostly focused on stage production and technical. Although I still have to grow in that aspect and I plan to this year. Performing and acting is something that I have little to no experience.
If I take advantage of the opportunities this year and end up being able to grow in acting would be beneficial for me after high school. Being able to speak in public is always a helpful skill to have.
In order to grow I plan to go to competitions as well as audition for the upcoming plays. I am willing to put in the work required for this class and I stay after school when necessary.
I absolutely agree with you when you say that you if you take advantage of the opportunities in acting that you be able to grow in acting because that is 100% true. If you start to act more than you will be able to grow and become more theatrical. Whenever we act we start to learn a whole new aspect and we start to become more and more experienced.
What I want to gain from my theatre 3 experience is I want to learn how to shows as much emotion that I can while preforming to make whatever piece that I do more emotional. I would also like to learn how to help other students bring out the acting from inside of them.
This will help me because I would learn about putting more emotion into my acting and actually bringing the piece to life. It is going to help me because I feel like whenever I act I just say it and put a little bit of emotion rather than just putting my heart and soul into it. I would also help the theatre 1's by telling them my experiences when I was sitting where they are today. I would also help them by trying to get them loose around new people.
What I am going to do about this is I a going to be paying attention to what the pieces emotional state is. I am also going to be making sure that I do research on the piece that way I know more about it and can put my feet in their shoes. I am going to make sure that I try to relate to the theatre 1's that way I can share my experience from when I was a theatre 1.
I agree with you. A piece's meaning can be changed just by the way you interpret it and by being able to change the motion of it can be beneficial. Someone can say that they never would have done the way that you did. That make your piece stuck in the judge's head and they are more likely going to keep referring back to you.
This year in Theatre 3 I hope to gain independence and more confidence than last year. Also, I want to experience being in a actually play and the work that comes with it.
Gaining more independence can give me confidence to take the lead in giving assistance to Theatre 1. Also, I can have no problem on stage performing on stage or just in front a small group of people. This is also a important life skill too,so I won't dependence on people to tell or give me something I should already have.
To achieve my goals for this year I'm going to step a little out of my comfort zone. Working harder then I've had last year is something I will do. Being open minded to ideas of others and myself is something will need to improve. I will have to work fast and no second thoughts.
I see what you mean when you say it's important to have confidence to help the theater ones. It's hard to push someone else to perform on a stage when you're not even comfortable doing it yourself.
Omg yes I totally agree with you when you say to gain confidence and independence. You can't always rely on others or coach for help or guidance. There will be times we will have to think for ourselves and make those big important decisions.
This year in theater three I would like to be a part of more productions. I also would like to excel a little higher into the competition culture. The last thing I would like to do is to get to know the other higher level theater students.
I would like to get more time on stage because I feel that to truly be a part of the troupe I need to engage more in the productions. I would like to be better in competitions and not look at them just as a class requirement, but as a opportunity to grow and learn as a performer. I would like to get to know the people around me because if we all know each other it makes performing, and working together easier and more enjoyable.

I will practice my pieces and take criticism in order to break and excel in competitions. I will also make changes and keep working to get better. This year I want to audition and be a part of more productions. I want to experience something other than a Christmas play and get more comfortable with auditions. To gain the experience and confidence I want I plan to audition for multiple productions and get used to being on the stage. I will try to be as comfortable as possible with a piece before I perform it, whether it be for competition or for a school production. A lot more time and effort will be put into rehearsal this year than in the past.

Last year I grew to respect each of you individually as well as develop personal relationships. Everyone can and will end up influencing my skills in acting.
I hope I both get influenced and influence each and everyone of you. We all have different talents and skills that we can put together and work like a well oiled machine.

Learning more knowledge about the performances will help me understand more about how certain things should look while on stage. For Example: Where things should be , Where everyone comes out , and etc. Gaining confidence in myself will help me get on stage and just go with flow of the acting . If i’m not confident while performing I will get on stage an everything would be a disaster .
I could definitely pay more attention in all the different parts in each production . A show wouldn’t be a show without the lights or sound of course. However , each actress and even understudy is just as important as the technology. Paying attention to every small part is going to be the reason I’m doing so much more then before.

If a theatre one or two needs help I can be there for them because I was in there shoes before. Instead of them going to coach I could assist them. Being hands on and learning new experiences would be more acting doing plays I have never done or never would have considered doing.
In order for me to achieve these things I will pay attention, listen, do as told. Also, pay attention to the theatre fours and get direction from. Take my time not rush to get things done patient with my time.
