I have big expectations this year. I spent the whole summer thinking about whether or not I wanted to stay in this class. I never really had any doubt about how much I love acting and performing, but I was going through a really tough time and I was distraught. But I love theatre and I cant wait to face this year head on. I want to perform as much as I can this year. I really want to make an impact on the stage and make my name worth knowing for more than just being a dillweed.
Frank, I'm so happy to see you in theatre and perusing your passion for acting. You are a great actor, and shows when you're on the stage. I want you to stay positive and focus, because this is your year to shine.
Every year in this class has been used to help me become a better actor and director. This year I hope to use these skills to take 1st place in all of my competitions. Yes. All of them. My expectations are that high, because last year was a year of practice. To practice with skill. To practice on my work ethic. To crash and burn so I can rise again.
To reach this goal, I've been planning on which pieces to use ever since last April. With each loss, I watched others so I may see which category I can succeed in and which ones I can not. Also, I learned from mistakes last year, and intend to do better.
Now? Now, I will lead the next generation of theatre kids to victory at each of these competitions. Congress? Dramatic Interpretation? Humorous? You name it, and I will be there. Ready.
I hope with yours and everyone else's help I can better my acting skills. You as well as everyone in this class has said or done something that has bettered or made me want to better myself. Me bettering myself makes me want to help others better themselves.
This year I hope to gain more acting experience as well as become a Thespian. I am excited to act in as many plays/musicals/competitions as possible. I am prepared and ecstatic to work with my peers to the left and right of me.
I will work my hardest and do my best in any and every role I obtain. with the help of my fellow theatre 4's and some practice time alone I hope to do well in the upcoming competitions.
I will take all advice given to me to further better my skills in both future productions and competitions. I will also do my best to influence subordinates in a good way.
It's a great "essay", but now you just have to remember this goal and strive towards it everyday. It's easy to say things, but it's harder to act on them. Good luck, bud.
All of your goals are amazing and are achievable. I have no doubt that you will put in the work that is needed to succeed this year. Also you have a group of people who want to help you this year.
This year I have expectations. I would love to be able to improve on performing. Last year I mostly focused on stage production and technical. Although I still have to grow in that aspect and I plan to this year. Performing and acting is something that I have little to no experience.
If I take advantage of the opportunities this year and end up being able to grow in acting would be beneficial for me after high school. Being able to speak in public is always a helpful skill to have.
In order to grow I plan to go to competitions as well as audition for the upcoming plays. I am willing to put in the work required for this class and I stay after school when necessary
Brianna your technical skills are most defiantly appreciated and needed. Don't be afraid to step on to the stage and show your other skills. You have always been a key part of tech and now it's time to be a key part of acting. It is an amazing feeling acting at competition and I know you will enjoy it.
This year I will be more involved with theatre and my performance in plays. I'm really looking forward to being apart of an acting on the stage with others, and the feeling to have an important role. I am also hoping to gain more experience with working with my peers. This will help me in college with speaking in front of a crowd, and socializing. For me to be successful, I will audition for more plays and find great audition pieces for competition.
