Discuss the recent performance
 How did you do?
How did we do?
What did you learn?
What will you do next time to improve?

  1. I am glad that the play came together for the last night, though we should have had it together the first night. All in all I am proud of our performance after all we have been through as a group. I believe my personal performance was pretty good for my first performance in the lime light. As a group we got progressively better though each of the nights. I learned that if you knock the leg out from under an already unstable table, it is bound to fall. We as a whole need to be more aware of the play rather than our lines.

    1. I agree with you on just about everything. We had setbacks but who doesn't and we know what measures to do to prevent those setbacks. We can't change somebody's mind that's okay.

  2. I was about 1/4 of the cast in the play, Crazytown. I played a bunch of characters such as; a cop, an anchorman, etc. Personally, I felt like I could've done a lot better. I feel that way, because I could see the difference in my acting between rehearsal and opening night. I would wish that I showed that amount of energy during rehearsal.

As a group, we did really well. Considering, that 3/4 of our cast was extremely inexperienced. As their first play, they pulled through very well. It was very impressive that they were able to become many different characters for their very first acting experience.

From it all, I learned that nobody is too good for lists. Nobody's perfect. We're human. We forget stuff. So I will remember to always make lists so I can improve my acting.

  3. I feel that I did pretty well for my first time acting. There were some flaws and I tried my best to work on those. But overall I was good not great.

As a unit we bounced off each other and that made the show move along. I felt that the pace on the last night was really good and there were no dull moments.

I learn that I need to trust myself and my peers around me. After the comments on the second night I personally did not want to do the last show. I was drained and felt that what was said by a certain person that I was not good and my efforts weren't seen. That got to me but at the end of the day I had to take it with a "grain of salt". Also that my peers couldn't take anymore hits and I could try with the last show.

I will know the play and not just my lines. That was a downfall but we got through and we learned from it.

  5. I was one of the four cast members in Crazytown; It was my first performance and I have learned a lot from my experience. Personally, I believe I performed a decent job. I did fail to memorize all of my lines but I was able to fake confidence and hopefully persuade the audience to believe my performance. we, as a group, did pretty well. Yes, we were under prepared, but with what we had thrown at us I think by the 3rd night we managed to put the show together. I learned the importance of knowing the script in its entirety, teamwork, and the importance of preparation. I will improve my ability to stay in character, know the entire script, and be more serious about my part.
