  1. When we built the set for “Ask Any Girl” the hardest thing for me while building it was getting the correct measurements for the little pieces of wood that we placed on the sides of the decks so that we could put paneling on the sides of the deck.

The thing that I gotten better at was painting, it was the first time for me for painting a set and I think I did a pretty good job. I honestly thought it would be much harder to paint the set, but it wasn’t hard at all.

Something i could get better at is being more of a critical thinker so that i could be more involved. I would be trying to focus on something then i would just zone out just like a snap. I really don’t understand why i do that, but it happens.

  2. what the challenges we/ I, overall was getting the "set" dome at a % everyday and not getting as much done as the set needed to be, but we got passes that and pulled ourselves together and worked as a team and got done what needed to be done, even staying after school.

So one thing i feel i got better at? I feel i got better at coming to school prepared and keeping my motivation up and not letting myself get dragged down in all my mess.

Now i feel pretty confident about what i learned and about what i need to improve on. i improved on is my confident level. and i can improve on, knowing what to do when not given directions.

  3. Some challenges we faced was not having a lot of help while building the set. In all we didn't have many people to come help on the set. It was mostly the people that has a role or was in the play that stayed after school and worked on it.

One thing I got better at was painting. Painting sounds like it's suppose to be easy right, well it's not. I was trying to paint it like a professional job as coach said and not paint it as if we're doing a high school play.

One thing that i learned was to have patience while building the set. Building can be frustrating sometimes especially when people just stand around and not help or ask to help.

One thing I need to improve on is not run away from something when I can't complete or do it. When I can't take a screw out or when I screw something in I usually ask someone who has more skill than me to do the job for me. I give up on it easily.

    1. Yeah I noticed that as well we weren't getting a lot done with the little help we had on the set.

  4. When working on the set for ask any girl our biggest challenge was time management. We had a slow start to building the set, especially the decks. We re-assembled a few times because we changed our design plan.

One thing I got better at was working independently and not waiting for someone else to get the job done. I worked with my class to get the set built in the time we had as well as doing a good job. I also came in early a few days to finish up painting on the set to avoid wet paint opening night.

One thing I can improve on is making sure I know what to do. There were a few times I was unsure of what we were doing to the set so i could not work efficiently. I think the whole class would benefit from asking more questions to have a full understanding of what we are supposed to accomplish.

One thing learned is we can do really cool unexpected things with our set. We made the rolling decks and cabinet doors to have different places for more scenes.

  5. Some challenges we faced while building the set is not listening to what we're told to do and understand what we're doing. Also a lot of people were just standing around while others were working on the set so it was difficult to get things done when there was only some people who were actually working on the set.

One thing that I had gotten better at is working together with my classmates I wasn't good at doing that at the beginning of this year. But now that the year is ending I think that I've gotten better at it than the beginning of this year.

One thing that I had learned is I have to stop thinking "I can't " do something when building the set and start thinking "I can". Working on the set has made me more confident in what I can do.

One thing that I need to improve on is helping out with anything we build. I haven't helped much with the set and I wish I would have but I was afraid I was going to mess something up. But next time I will understand what has to be done and help out as much as I can.
