Challenges that I have been facing while preparing for Crazytown is the transition within each scene. I often stay in one place for No More Mister Nice Guy and I forget that I am blocking 33% of the audience. I need to be more aware of my surroundings and more around when I feel like there needs to be movement.
It is challenging when you are doing a DI piece that you cut out a few scenes and then have to come back and add more lines to that. After the competition I am going to focus on adding the lines that need to be added and have to scene to its full potential.
The main challenge for crazy town is having so many different characters to step into. It is hard going from brooklyn dbag ricky to straight man news anchor Jim. I enjoy all of the challenges that come from this play because it will make me and everyone involved better actors.
